Teaching

I have undergraduate teaching experience at the University of Notre Dame, both as instructor of record and as discussion section instructor.

I am deeply committed to teaching, and my course evaluations reflect this.

In my first class taught as instructor of record, I planned a syllabus of highly-demanding texts by Thomas Aquinas and Bonaventure for the sophomore-level distribution requirement. Despite the challenging material, my composite median student rating was 5.0/5.0 (86.7% response rate). Students rated 96.1% of evaluated skills as excellent or very good, and 84.6% reported an extremely high or very high degree of intellectual challenge in the course.
